Rose Bath Salt Soak – Valentine’s Day

Don’t want to throw your beautiful roses away after Valentine’s day but don’t know what to do with them after they have wilted? Why not use the dried rose petals in your bath? Below is a recipe to diy your own bath salt soak using those leftover rose petals! A rose bath for two is after all a relaxing and romantic way to end off this year’s Valentine’s Day.

Ingredients

1 Tablespoon mild liquid “carrier” oi

l (like jojoba oil, olive oil, grape seed oil etc.)

20 drops Rose essential oil

1 cup coarse sea salt or any coarse salt (you can buy at any grocery shop)

½ cup Epsom salt

¼ cup dried Rose buds and petals

Instructions

Mix liquid oil and essential oil. Add salt and mix well to combine. Mix in rose petals.

Store in an air-tight container.

Use ½ – 1 cup per bath

Notes

Select a “carrier” oil that is liquid and doesn’t have a lot of scent. Jojoba or a refined sunflower oil would be good choices.
